In July this year, the 2025 National Science and Technology Progress Awards were announced. Hanyang enterprises "shining stars" - units such as China Railway Bridge Bureau and China Railway Bridge Institute - participated in the "Key Wind Resistance Technology and Application for Large-Span High-Speed Railway Bridges", and the "Key Technology and Application for Strong/Strong Wind Effect Perception, Prediction and Coordinated Control of Long-Distance Bridges" jointly participated by China Railway Bridge Institute, both of which received the second prize for new technologies.

 


On September 3rd, the main tower of the Zhuhai Bay Cross-Sea Railway Bridge's middle航道 bridge was successfully capped. This is one of the global construction standards with the highest and technical difficulty of cross-sea high-speed railway bridges, and its design and construction units are China Railway Bridge Institute and China Railway Bridge Bureau, both of which have roots in Hanyang for many years.

"Due to the requirements of high-speed railway operation control, cross-sea and cross-ocean bridges have extremely high requirements for the accuracy of the main beam's completed line shape." Vice Chief Engineer Zheng Qinggang of China Railway Bridge Institute said, "To control the deviation of the manufacturing configuration on the main beam line shape, the institute pioneered the active regulation technology based on digital assembly." "Using the Beidou high-precision positioning system and 3D laser scanning technology, full-section line shape re-measurement is conducted after each section of the tower column construction, and the installation parameters of the formwork are dynamically adjusted to control the verticality deviation of the main tower within the millimeter range." Zheng Qinggang introduced that this technology has been applied to projects such as Changtai Yangtze River Bridge.

 


As a brother unit of China Railway Bridge Institute, China Railway Bridge Bureau released the first domestic pioneering vertical large model bridge cluster intelligent operation and management platform. The platform, built by it, is applied to landmark bridges such as Yingpuzhou and Yangsiangang Yangtze River Bridges, and the operation data of the bridges being maintained can be monitored in real time. "The platform monitors the health of the bridge 24/7, automatically alerts when there are potential hazards, and realizes intelligent management of the entire life cycle of the bridge."

 


In the life health field, JiuZhou Tong Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as JiuZhou Tong) had an R&D investment of 161 million yuan in the first half of this year, achieving the construction of 15 AI application scenarios in the hospital and 75 in the outside world. Its "Bone Science Chang'e" intelligent service platform is the first medical device supply chain service platform in China to apply an artificial intelligence large model, with an accuracy rate of 99.9%. The integrated multi-modal large model and traditional Chinese medicine knowledge graph-based smart diagnosis platform of traditional Chinese medicine has increased the doctor's diagnosis efficiency by approximately 30%.

From the main towers of the bridge at the millimeter level to the AI supply chain platform with an accuracy rate of 99.9%, the leading enterprises in Hanyang are turning numerous "world problems" into "Chinese solutions".

On the morning of September 7th, the automated production line of Wuhan Xianjie Electronics Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Xianjie Electronics) in Building 1 of Liandong U-Valley in Yongfeng Street, Hanyang, was running at high speed. One after another, the automotive air conditioning fan motor was produced after going through 11 processes.

"Adjusting the wind speed and temperature of the automotive air conditioning all require specialized institutions to execute," said Zeng Xianhao, the general manager of Xianjie Electronics. "New energy vehicles have very high requirements for noise control. Xianjie Electronics has optimized the internal structure and materials of the product to reduce the product noise from 36 decibels to 32 decibels, and has deployed an online noise and vibration detection system to achieve 100% automatic online noise recognition. This technology is a domestic first."

Xianjie Electronics was founded in 2003, from a few people to 700 people now, always focusing on the research and manufacturing of components for automotive air conditioning and thermal management. After 20 years of development, Xianjie Electronics has taken the lead in the industry, with customers including Faurecia, Air Conditioning International, Mandel Electronics, Songzi Group, etc., and its products are widely used in intelligent water, gas, electricity, and heating meters, electronic price tags, geological monitoring, Internet of Things, etc. The company has been awarded honors such as provincial specialized and innovative small and medium-sized enterprises, Hubei Province's pillar industry sub-sector hidden champion cultivation enterprise, Wuhan Industrial Intelligent Transformation Demonstration Enterprise, New Force Future Stars TOP100, and Wuhan Industrial Design Center.

"Market is growing, and R&D investment is also continuously increasing," said Zeng Xianhao. "The company will continue to expand AI applications, promote technological transformation and digital transformation, and improve production capacity and intelligence level."

1.5 kilometers away in the Jiahua Science and Technology Park, the production line of Wuhan Fu'an Tie Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Fu'an Tie) is also running at full capacity, supplying lithium manganese soft-pack batteries to the global leading enterprise of electronic price tags.

Fu'an Tie focuses on the research and manufacturing of lithium primary batteries and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of listed company Yibei Lithium Energy. The company's lithium iron batteries, lithium manganese batteries, lithium manganese soft-pack batteries, and lithium iron power-type batteries are widely used in intelligent water, gas, electricity, and heating meters, electronic price tags, geological monitoring, and Internet of Things, etc. The technical director of the company, Liu Peng, said that the company was the first in China to achieve mass production of lithium manganese soft-pack batteries in 2008, and in 2021, it built the first lithium manganese soft-pack automatic production line in China, and in 2025, it will build the first lithium manganese soft-pack automatic high-speed production line and ultra-thin soft-pack automatic production line. Currently, it is the largest lithium manganese soft-pack production base in the industry. Last October, Fu'an Tie was selected as a Wuhan Industrial Intelligent Transformation Demonstration Project, and in June this year, it was also selected for the list of Hubei Province's Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Technology Center Recognition.

"The company will allocate 3%-5% of its annual sales revenue for R&D investment, and has cumulatively applied for 60 patents. It has participated in the formulation and revision of more than 10 national and industry standards." Liu Peng said, "The company's products have a market share of over 80% in the fields of electronic price tags, security, positioning systems, etc." After five iterations, Fuanant's products are leading the industry in terms of electrical performance, safety and service life. "The thinnest pouch battery can be as thin as 0.45 millimeters, equivalent to the thickness of four A4 sheets."


It is reported that Hanyang is fully implementing the high-level platform cultivation project. Centering on industry segments such as pharmaceutical health, biological fermentation, and material batteries, it is promoting key enterprises like Jiuzhong and Fuanant to establish technological innovation centers, enterprise research and development centers, engineering technology research centers, and pilot production platforms, to build a multi-level industrial innovation platform system. The added value of high-tech industries in Hanyang has maintained a double-digit growth rate for three consecutive years and ranked first among the central urban areas. Over the past three years, Hanyang has cumulatively cultivated 182 high-tech enterprises, specialized and innovative small and medium-sized enterprises, and specialized and innovative "little giant" enterprises.

On the 20th floor of an office, Hu Liang, the CEO of Boava (Wuhan) Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Boava Technology), is closely monitoring the monitor. A few seconds later, the simulated "fallen elderly person" in the picture triggered an alarm, and the new AI camera test passed. "Our embedded AI camera has its own brain and can think independently, suitable for deployment in construction sites, highways, areas prone to geological disasters, nursing homes, etc. It can issue an early warning result within 3 seconds." Hu Liang introduced.

It is reported that after Boava Technology entered Hanyang and introduced Baidu Paddle technology, only 1/10 of the original data was needed to quickly build a model, with efficiency increased and costs reduced. "The district has built a resource pool and connected the application scenarios of Hanyang Transportation Investment Group to Boava Technology, helping Boava Technology successfully enter the 2026 Key Research and Development Plan of Wuhan Artificial Intelligence OPC Innovation Special Project." A relevant person in charge of the Economic and Science Technology Bureau of Hanyang District said.

Hu Liang introduced that the company's products have cumulatively shipped over 100,000 units, have been implemented in over 100 cities around the world, and serve nearly 1,000 enterprises, mainly including Zhonglian Heavy Machinery, Beijing Railway Research Institute, Civil Aviation Research Institute, Hubei Transportation Investment Group, Guangxi Transportation Investment Group, Hunan Transportation Investment Group, etc.

Just a stone's throw away, Wuhan Investment and Control Digital Innovation Base. In the exhibition hall of Hanjiang Robot Intelligent Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Hanjiang Robot), the scenes from science fiction movies are actually happening.

The staff put on a head ring and lay on what seems to be an ordinary hospital bed, blinking their eyes towards the tablet, and can control the electric bed to rise and lower with "thought".

"By collecting multimodal signals such as brain waves, eye movements, and head movements, the large model will decode the control intentions of the brain in real time, thereby achieving free and precise control of the electric bed." Hanjiang Robot General Manager Wang Gen introduced that patients' head movements and eye movements can independently complete actions such as lifting the back, sitting up, and raising the legs, and can control the lighting, air conditioning, and TV in the ward, truly achieving "what you think is what you control", with an overall control accuracy rate of 97.0% and the product has been clinically applied in multiple hospitals across the country.

 

 

A relevant person in charge of the Economic and Science Technology Bureau of Hanyang District said that in recent years, Hanyang District has taken urban renewal as a starting point and built 25 high-quality scientific and technological innovation park carriers. The Baidu Paddle Empowerment Center has jointly established the New District Hanpai OPC Community with the New District Group and Hanpai Technology, and has been selected as one of the first artificial intelligence OPC ecological communities in the city; Wuhan Investment and Control Digital Innovation Base officially opened in March this year and has had nearly 60 enterprises入驻 by the end of July, with an occupied area of 20,000 square meters. The core facilities such as the Provincial Transportation Technology Building are accelerating their construction, and the Industry-University-Research Center of Jianghan University has been successfully established simultaneously. These have become important spatial carriers for the transformation of scientific and technological innovation and the incubation of enterprises. The continuous consolidation of the collaborative innovation system among universities, local governments and enterprises has enabled regular government-industry-university-research cooperation. Cooperation has been carried out with universities such as Wuhan University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan University of Technology, and China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), promoting the local transformation of scientific and technological achievements in Hanyang.

In the future, Hanyang District will deeply focus on the digital economy and cultivate new industrial upgrade tracks. It will deeply implement the "Artificial Intelligence +" action, expand the application of typical artificial intelligence scenarios, and promote the comprehensive empowerment of the region's four leading industries and three characteristic industries by artificial intelligence.
